Chattanooga School of Language – Resource Recommendation

In today’s blog, we are highlighting Chattanooga School of Language. Chattanooga School of Language (CSL) offers language classes for people of all ages and proficiency levels. They offer small group classes and private classes, as well as customized language training for workplaces. CSL is a great resource for language learners in Chattanooga!

As you may have heard, the Language South team moved into the CSL building. We love being around more language educators and language learners! In the past, Teo and Emily, the founders of Language South, worked for CSL as Spanish Teachers.

A lot of resources on this blog are for your own self-guided study, and those can be valuable. And, we believe that language classes offer community and motivation that online self-study resources just can’t.

“Working with CSL has been fantastic! Laurie [the director of CSL] was insightful with placing me with an awesome instructor in Shelley!  My Spanish goal is to be a continuous learner. The beauty of Spanish culture is seemingly everywhere. As the owner of a communication company, I want to be a good communicator in another language. CSL was patient with my learning style and resourceful when I was faced with language difficulties. Although I have a long way to go, CSL is giving me a solid language platform. Thank you very much!” – Vincent Phipps – M.A., CSP (Certified Speaking Professional)

“City government has worked with the Chattanooga School of Language (CSL) over the past four years to offer Spanish classes to our employees, police officers, and firefighters. This partnership has improved our front-line interactions with the public. … CSL is an amazing partner and one of the businesses we rely on to make sure that Chattanooga is a welcoming City.” – James McKissic – Former Director of Office of Multicultural Affairs, City of Chattanooga
